Maas- RORC Admirals Cup

RORC 100 Years Celebration in Holland on Thursday 8th of May

The Royal Maas Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club would like to invite you and your fellow crew members for a double celebration for offshore sailing enthusiasts.
We will celebrate 100 years of racing and the 100th anniversary of the RORC, as well as the presentation & ‘send-off’ of the Dutch Offshore Sailing Team that will participate in the 2025 Admiral’s Cup. Both their yachts will be moored in the harbour at the Royal Maas Yacht Club.
This invite is not only for Maas and RORC members, we also welcome any sailor that has raced the Rolex Fastnet, Admiral's Cup, North Sea Regatta or any offshore race, as well as those young sailors that aspire to attend such races.

There is a program for this special occasion that will be held at the Royal Maas Yacht Club in Rotterdam on Thursday 8th of May 2025 from 4pm onwards.

Program:
16:00 - 17.30
Youth sailors and all invitees are welcome to visit the two Admiral’s Cup yachts in the Veerhaven (this is the harbour next to the Royal Maas Yacht Club), as both yachts will be there for a special ceremony.
The crews will gladly show you the Ker 46 Van Uden of the Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team and the Ker 43 Baraka GP, of the De Graaf family.

17:30 - 19.30 - € 10,- per person, kids under 18 year for free
Drinks Reception at the Royal Maas Yacht Club for all invitees including speeches, presentations by the RORC Commodore, the Dutch Admiral’s Cup Team (old & new), Fastnet Winners and special stories. This will be an inspiring evening for everyone who has done the Fastnet and/or is inspired to do the Rolex Fastnet, as well as the Admiral’s Cup. It will be a celebration of the past and future of offshore racing.

19:30 - 22:00 - €100,- per person (adult) €40,- kids under 18 years
Dinner for those who would like to join with their crews to continue the reunion and celebration. Note that there are limited dinner spaces, so this will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

If you're only coming for drinks, it’s €10 per person from 17:30 to 19:30, with children under 18 years old free of charge. Drinks including dinner from 19:30 to 22:00 are €100 per person. Please make sure to register online.
